Dr Margaret Ward

  • Dr Margaret Ward has had many roles to inform her interest in universal housing design.  As an architect, public servant, parent and advocate for the inclusion of all citizens, she has worked towards the adoption of housing design which includes everyone regardless of age and ability.  Margaret assisted to establish the Australian Network for Universal Housing Design and the Queensland Action for Universal Housing Design.  She was awarded the Public Service Medal for her work in housing for people with disability.  She is also a Churchill Fellow.  Margaret has recently completed her PhD on inclusive housing in Australia.
